Howto Get Involved!

We are a free[1] group with no fixed membership, so we don't really have any `members' or `rules'. The best way to find our what is happening is to join the mailing list and we suggest you do this first before anything else.

1. Add yourself to the Nottingham LUG mailing list. Signup instructions are on the mailing list page (pretty essential if you want to keep up with the news)
2. Keep track of the mailing list and come to the next of our social meets or Winter Sessions. (optional, but this is the fun part!)
3. Add yourself (and your website if you have one) to Simon "Huggie" Huggins' NottLUG Wiki of Nottingham LUG people. A Wiki is a webpage you edit online in your own web-browser (again this is optional, but it's nice to know who's listening in!)

[1] free as beer, in that it costs nothing to join and Free as in Freedom because you are able to come and go without restriction. You can choose to participate in person, on the mailing lists, or just lie back and ``lurk'' on the mailing list.
