We welcome Anna Dunford (pictured on the right) who is the new WGYF administrator. Anna is a Scottish Quaker who has done alot of work with Teenage Young Friends at Link Groups and Summer Schools and most recently, working for European Quakers (EMES) as their administrator. Anna lives in Edinburgh and will be working from the FWCC EMES offices, you can contact her by email: <info@wgyf.org>
Damos la bienvenida a Anna Dunford (representado a la derecha) que sea el nuevo administrador de WGYF. Anna es un Quaker escocés que ha hecho el alot del trabajo con los amigos jóvenes adolescentes en los grupos del acoplamiento y las escuelas de verano y lo más recientemente posible, trabajando para los Quakers Europeos (EMES) como su administrador. The Europe-Based Committee (EBC) met at the Friends Meeting House in Lancaster near to where the World Gathering will be held in 2005. We welcome Fran, a Spanish-speaking Friend from Australia, to the planning meeting for the first time. Betsy and Shelia from the United States lead friends in Bible study.
El Comité Planeamiento, Europa (EBC) se reunió en Iglesia de los Amigos en Lancaster cerca a donde la Reunión del Mundo será llevada a cabo en 2005. Damos la bienvenida a Fran, Amigo de habla hispana de Australia, a la reunión de planeamiento para la primera vez. Betsy y Shelia de los amigos del plomo de Estados Unidos en biblia estudian.
Le Comité Planification, Europe (EBC) s'est réuni aux Église d'Amis à Lancaster à où le Rassemblement du Monde sera tenu en 2005. A large percentage of the time was spent on offically setting up the "World Gathering of Young Friends" charity, which required an formal Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held. Money has been sent to setup a WGYF office in Kenya. A group of was appointed to organise the Year Ahead Event consisting of Rachel Phillips, John Fitzgerald and Jonathan Riddell. Rachel is hoping to travel to FUM (Friends United Meetings) in America.
Un porcentaje grande del tiempo estuvo pasado en offically creando la "World Gathering of Young Friends" joven; caridad, que requirió una reunión general anual formal (AGM) ser celebrada.
