[vserver] Link file in host to guests

I have a need (desire actually) to link a file in the host system into
selected guests.

The file will not be static. Updated about every minute.

Currently I have the script that generates the file copy it to the
guests but it seems such a brute-force method. The guests only need to
read the file.

I tried a soft link from the host but got errors. (I tried it last week
or before and much has happened since so I can't remember the exact error.)

Any ideas, pointers, clue-sticks?
