Do you have a rough timeframe for this becoming stable enough to do a
more official release/snapshot? I guess a lot of gentoo folks might
bump into this as and when baselayout 2 goes stable?
I will test and then post a bug on the gentoo bugzilla with an updated
ebuild pointing at the snapshot
