Hi,
I am running VServer guests on iSCSI targets, wich gives me a bit of a
problem when using quota's.
I all the howto's you need to make a blockdevice and copy it into the /dev
directory of the guest.
Since my targets come from iSCSI i can't do that. The only exists in the
/dev directory of the host.
I made a failover solution where /etc/vservers is mounted over NFS so all
hosts kan access this data.
All these hosts have access to all the iSCSI targets, so i can start any
guest on any host. This is great when you want failover.
The control panel i am using (DirectAdmin) requires that you have quotas in
order to calculate the diskusage.
In the fstab file of my guests i have i line like:
/dev/emc_61 / ext3 rw,noatime,usrquota 0 0
In this case /dev/emc_61 is the iSCSI target.
Any suggestions?
Met vriendelijke groet,
Wido den Hollander
