I can confirm that 0.30.209 built from source with kernel 2.6.12.4 and
patch-2.6.12.4-vs2.0.diff applied fixes the problems Philippe was
experiencing on ubuntu breezy. I didn't have any luck trying to build
a .deb using 0.30.209 sources with the 'debian/' dir from 0.30.208
.deb that Ubuntu's Universe offers...
