yes. keep care that the proc directory exists on the target machine
after syncing.

you should take care about things like mysql. if the database is running
and you just copy all tables, you might get errors on the target system.

i don't know if anybody had also errors when syncing the mysql tables
when the database is not running. i think this should not be a problem.

i would sync the running system, then shutdown and sync againg. if your
memory allows it i would add a --delete the second time.
