I grabbed the binary from Jacques' site to fix a NIC driver issue. Now I
am (still) having some problems that appear to come from the samba-clients
- mostly mounting a Win32 share to access some user files. Though all my
reading indicates this should not be an issue (just error messages) I'd
like to add nls to the kernel to insure there is not some ghost in the
code that is biting me.

There could be several other issues but to my meager knowledge of kernel
internals they should not affect the main server. The vserver is running
a perl script that opens an iMail spam folder (mbox format) pulls From,
Subject, Date, and Size information about each message and then creates a
report for the user to look at in case a good message gets caught but the
spam software. There have been some issues raised on the Mail::Box list
about memory leaks and the module but my impression is this should not
affect the main server.

I was involved in another thread about this and the plan was to turn on
kernel debugging and get a core file to analyze but I'm running so fast
right now I haven't had a chance to do this.

I also suspect the samba code might be getting hit by the BlasterWorm
residue. We actually saw DSL routers hang because of it, so if there is
Windows traffic on a Linux box I'd think there could be some effects here
also.

The gist of this is I can't find my instructions for compiling a new ctx
kernel. Anyone want to share their instructions? (Yes I have looked at
the HOWTO and a couple of other sites but they tend to get really wrapped
up in the _whole_ process and then jump around.)
