hi,

what means => Have you remembered "fakeinit" in the config for the vserver?

if havent set any fakeinit directives.

Yast runlevel should start at least sshd in level 2/3/5 but it doesn`t.

Greetings

Oliver

I can confirm that at least SuSE 8.1 work relatively fine for me.
I had some trouble setting it up, but now is has been stable as rock
for a long time - uptime 2 months now, last reboot was a
UPS installation.

Btw, the kernel is a vanilla 2.4.20 from kernel.org, with
Promise RAID patches + vserver patches.

Have you remembered "fakeinit" in the config for the vserver?

What do "yast runlevel" tell you?

Best regards
