I am using the e100/e1000 drivers now. Though I have nothing but praise
for Donald Becker (a most helpful person - long but really neat story
there) I need and want to stay with the current 'official' driver when
possible.
Thanks fo the pointer on the sleep mode. Maybe a ping every few
minutes to keep traffic flowing through the card would help.
The system gets very un-busy, for now, at night. Interesting
thought. I'll have to look into this also.
