Well I have been pestering everyone quite a bit recently so I want and
need to say thanks for all the help. Just a bit more dust to clear out of
the air and I'll follow up on some of my promises.
I was able to compile a new kernel with the natsemi NIC driver. Heck it
even works. Had (still have) some issues with networking and firewalling
but a thread last month or in January will lead me to my goal.
FWIW, I too couldn't get the newvserver to create a new server from a CD -
rh7 or rh8 minimal. Ended up doing a vserver base build and I'm in the
process of triming it back from the main server installation and fattening
it up with all those things users want and need.
Again thanks to all that offered help and encouragement.
