Sorry for being a bit annoying about this.
First of all, I want to ask if the following packages are really of a
base rh system requirements:

> cyrus-sasl-2.1.7-2.i386.rpm
> cyrus-sasl-md5-2.1.7-2.i386.rpm
> openldap-2.0.25-1.i386.rpm

Next, I wonder if the following packages are useful in vserver enviroment, please comment:

> iproute-2.4.7-5.i386.rpm
> iputils-20020124-8.i386.rpm
> modutils-2.4.18-2.i386.rpm
> mount-2.11r-10.i386.rpm

Finally, can you also provide ls /dev from your vserver environment?
