chkconfig --level 2345 sshd off
chkconfig --level 2345 v_sshd on
Run this on the main server and then...
service sshd stop
service v_sshd start
DOn't try and run the v_* scripts on the virtual server, just the main
server, if you will look in /etc/init.d
[root_at_tdcmailhostsrv2 root]# cd /etc/init.d
[root_at_tdcmailhostsrv2 init.d]# ls
aep1000 halt linuxconf-setup radvd sshd v_xinetd
anacron httpd lpd random syslog xfs
apmd identd mysqld rawdevices tux xinetd
atd innd netfs rebootmgr v_httpd ypbind
autofs ipchains network rhnsd v_named yppasswdd
bcm5820 iptables nfs sendmail vncserver ypserv
crond kdcrotate nfslock single v_sendmail ypxfrd
cups keytable nscd snmpd vservers
functions killall ntpd snmptrapd v_smb
gpm kudzu portmap squid v_sshd
You will see all the other scripts that need to be replaced ie httpd, named,
etc...
...it will fix it and it will come up right the next time you reboot. SSH is
listening on all the IPs on the box until you do this, look thought the docs
for a better explanation.
