>From my understanding it has to do with the net_raw cap. Ie when the
perl lib creates the snmp packet, it uses a net_raw type creation, which
gets the ROOTDEV instead of the vserver's sub interface.

The same happens when you use cricket, and ping.

For cricket we were able to tell the snmp lib what ip address to use,
and set that directly to the ip address of the vserver.

BTW. We have been testing using vservers to collect data using cricket
onto one nfs array, so that the collection can be farmed out, and one
frontend (grapher) can access all of the data.
