Hi guys,

I have a Via C3 (ezra core) 800mhz, that I've installed Gentoo 1.4rc1
(gcc-3.2) on. I've installed a vserver enabled kernel without a hitch,
and installed and compiled (from the .src.rpm) the vserver-0.21
utilities.

chbind is confirmed to work, and I don't know what else to test.

I've posted another thread on this subject, but noone seems to have any
idea as to what is wrong (see subj. "problem entering/starting vservers
on gentoo"). I get an illegal instruction message when I try to run
vserver main enter (main is a vserver I copiled from a working vserver
installation on my old server, a RH7.3 (the vserver main is RH7.2).

Is anyone else running Vserver on a Via C3 cpu? I'm asking because if
noone comes up with an answer (or tells me that their vserver works fine
on Gentoo - which would lead me to conclude that it is the cpu, and not
the distro) I'm going to have to try to install RH80 (or 7.3) on my
server to see if it works. Ofcourse I would like to avoid this, if
possible.

Thank you for reading this Email.
