Ah, yes, that's exactly what I need, unification on a tarball baby.
I do have hard links, but with the immutable-unlink flag, any changes to the
reference server won't propagate, if I'm understanding correctly. I need that
immutable-unlink flag, so that the vserver users can upgrade.
Sam Vilain's perl script (mentioned at http://vserver.vlad.net/list/0485.html)
sounded like it might work, except that the script seems to be missing?
